Hi there! I’m Lexie and the face behind Syzygy Scents! Syzygy Scents is an LGBTQ+ owned, Pittsburgh-based candle company born in my kitchen. After I was laid off from work as a server in 2020 due to the pandemic, I began making candles for friends and family for a little extra income. What started as a personal interest has turned into a full fledged business. I launched in September 2020 and I’m still hand pouring candles in small batches with the aim of creating quality products at affordable price points. Fun Fact: Syzygy Scents is named after the astrological term "syzygy," which is a straight-line configuration of three celestial bodies. The body of the moth in our logo represents 3 planets in alignment.
